Old Lexington Stamp Mill & Gardens

Montana Folk Festival
This exciting event celebrates Montana’s great heritage and occurs every year. It features multiple stages with numerous live performances by some of Montana’s finest artists and musicians. Enjoy ethnic foods, live performances, two art markets, a family area and more when you stop by.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This joyous parade attracts thousands to Butte in March every year. The fun starts off with the parade and festivities, including leprechauns, green beer, corned beef, cabbage and more.
An Ri Ra Montana Irish Festival
This free event is located at the Original Mine Yard and celebrates Irish heritage. It is a top event that attracts people from all over Montana and beyond. This event is considered one of the best Irish festivals in North America. Don’t forget to bring your umbrella and lawn chair!
Music on Main
This weekly event is full of fun for the whole family. It begins in June and continues throughout the summer until mid or late August. There is live music, food vendors, local breweries, kid’s activities and more.
Butte-toberfest
Butte-toberfest (Butte’s Oktoberfest) is held every September and features over 17 Montana breweries, contests, live music, food, stein races and more. The event is kid-friendly and held in Uptown Butte. It’s free to attend. Beer tasting comes with a fee.
Covellite International Film Festival
This classy film event is one that promotes the love of film and film culture in the city of Butte, Montana. Every year it attracts large groups of filmmakers with their film creations to the local area.
Chinese New Year Parade
The Mai Wah Society will host its annual Butte Chinese New Year Parade, which has been described as a quickest, coldest and loudest parade in Montana. Enjoy colourful costumes, Chinese food vendors, music, performances and more!

Freedom Fest
This fun festival includes entertainment at Chester Steele Park, fireworks off the “Big M” on July 3rd, live music and a large parade on July 4th. There are many surrounding park areas where you can relax with a blanket and some snacks and watch the fireworks go off.
Butte 100 Mountain Bike Race
The Butte 100 Mountain Bike Race takes place atop the Continental Divide just outside of Butte. The weekend consists of three individual races, a 100-mile race, a 50-mile race and the Sorini 25 race.
Silver Bow County Fair
Stop by the annual Butte‑Silver Bow County Fair and enjoy some genuine time with the family! It offers food booths, arts and crafts, a rodeo, children’s events, farm animals, contests, entertainment and more.
Uptown Christmas Stroll

Walking Tours
Explore the “Richest Hill on Earth” when you take a walking tour around Butte, Montana. There is so much to see when you sign up for a tour, including learning about the underground tunnels, the city’s copper production and more interesting historic facts that date from the 1890s to 1950s.
Trolley Tours
Running from memorial day through to September, the Butte Trolley (Old No. 1) lasts approximately two hours and travels through the National Historic Landmark District including sights such as the Dumas Brothel, Berkeley Pit Viewing Stand, Clark Chateau, World Museum of Mining, and the Copper King Mansion.
Our Lady of the Rockies
This 90-foot statue was dedicated by workers to women all over the world, especially mothers. It is built in the likeness of the Blessed Virgin Mary and sits atop the Continental Divide overlooking the city of Butte.
